about Tom
Tom has been practicing acupuncture in Brighton for over 15 years and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. He attained a first class honors degree from the International College of Oriental Medicine where he is currently the principle of the college . He teaches across the curriculum and has a special interest in the psychology of Chinese Medicine as well as treating all kinds of muskulo-skeletal, digestive, and gynaecological isuues.
about Roy
Roy has been practicing acupuncture in Brighton for over 15 years and is a member of the British Acupuncture Council.
Roy is a senior lecturer at the International College of Oriental Medicine, where he is the course coordinator for the anatomy and physiology modules, and a supervisor of the second and third year student trainee clinics.
Roy's main clinical interests are orthopaedics and pain management, neurological, endocrine and gynaecological disorders.

What To Expect
Acupuncture treatment usually lasts between 45 minutes to an hour. A full medical history is taken for new patients, you are invited to disclose only what you are comfortable with. Patient information is strictly confidential. The treatment consists of the insertion of between 5 to 10 fine, single use sterile needles. They are retained for 25 mins. Acupuncture treatment may also involve the use of heat, short massage or cupping where applicable.
Patients are advised to wear loose fitting clothing. The number of treatments depends on the condition and your acupuncturist will discuss this at your first consultation.
